Let’s Talk! Tara, mag-usap tayo!
You don’t need to be an expert to talk about mental health!
Living away from friends and family support can bring real challenges. The mental wellbeing workshops are led by local Filipino facilitators who will provide practical tools and advice to help the Filipino community to support their own wellbeing and that of their friends, family and community. Come and join others from your community at a free workshop to learn more about how you can take charge of your mental wellbeing and support those around you.
We'll cover the signs and symptoms of mental illness and share with you information about where to go for support if you are worried about someone. You’ll pick up lots of useful tips and information, practice having caring conversations and learn what support is available if more help is needed.
You don't need to be an expert to talk about mental health. It's about helping you and your community, friends and family to be able to talk about mental health.
You don't need to bring or prepare anything to participate, just yourself. Refreshments will be provided.
