Spanish GoodYarn Workshops
Juntemos a nuestra comunidad para hablar de salud mental.
Come together with your Spanish community to learn about how you can support yourself and each other during challenging times!
The mental wellbeing workshops are led by peer facilitators who will provide practical tools and advice to help the local Spanish community to support their own wellbeing and that of their friends, family and community. Our Spanish facilitators understand first-hand the challenges of living away from home and family support, and residency issues.
We'll cover the signs and symptoms of mental illness and share with you information about where to go for support if you are worried about someone. You’ll pick up lots of useful tips and information, practice having caring conversations and learn what support is available if more help is needed.
You don't need to be an expert to talk about mental health. It's about helping you and your community, friends and family to be able to talk about mental health.
You don't need to bring or prepare anything to participate, just yourself. The workshop will be delivered in both Spanish and English.
