Headlight CE joins global experts on international Mental Health Literacy eWebinar

We're thrilled to share that our Chief Executive Anna Dorsey will be one of the expert voices at the upcoming eMental Health International Collaborative (eMHIC) webinar on mental health literacy on Thursday 19th October.

Anna will be joining international experts Andrew GreenshawYifeng Wei and Senator Stan Kutcher alongside MC Gregor Henderson to talk about how investment in mental health literacy programmes, particularly for remote, diverse and rural communities, has significant potential to improve the mental wellbeing of communities at large.

They'll be exploring how technology and collaboration are playing key roles in unlocking the potential impact of these strategies on priority populations.

Anna will be shining a spotlight on the work led by the Headlight team and how we are creating new models of community-focused mental health education.

The Headlight team has now brought mental health education to hundreds of members of the Queenstown Lakes and Southern Communities through the GoodYarn Community Programme.  The team is now building on this experience to re-imagine a new approach to making mental health education equitable and accessible for communities across New Zealand and beyond.

It's an incredible honour to be recognised alongside international experts for our efforts to increase mental health literacy in the Queenstown Lakes and Southern communities.

We encourage anyone interested in improving mental wellbeing and mental health literacy in communities to zoom in. Register or learn more at : https://lnkd.in/gKkfnyjf
