We engage with local communities to help people talk about mental health, and reduce stigma and discrimination around mental illness

We’re shining a spotlight on mental health in communities

Our Headlight staff and volunteers love getting out and about and talking with our people about mental health! We know that when we actively foster meaningful conversations within local people about mental health we can promote open and honest discussions, reduce barriers to help seeking behaviour and actively combat prejudice and discrimination associated with mental illness.

Our Approach

We bring mental health to the forefront by

  • organizing engaging pop-up stalls,

  • holding thought-provoking talks,

  • delivering collaborative projects with community partners,

  • hosting unique events that spark dialogue about mental health.

Our goal is to start a conversation, share personal stories that resonate with individuals and forge connections that foster understanding. By doing so, we collectively raise awareness about the pivotal role of supporting our mental well-being as a community.
