General Manager
We are seeking a General Manager to run daily operations and enable the implementation of new mental health literacy programmes. This is a 20-hour per week contractor role reporting to the Chair of Headlight Trust with much of the work able to be done from home. Duties include supporting the Board with Trust meetings, pursuing fundraising opportunities, financial management, liaison and relationship building, communications and workshop delivery support.
SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES
Duties include supporting the Headlight Board with:
· implementation of our strategic plan,
· regular Trust meetings,
· pursuing fundraising opportunities,
· financial management,
· liaison and relationship building,
· communications, and
· workshop delivery support.
KEY SKILLS
Required skills
· Strong verbal and written communication skills
· Great at building relationships with people and working collaboratively
· Comfort working with numbers and a willingness to learn about financial management
· An understanding of, and personal alignment with Headlight Trust’s objectives
· Commitment to the principles of Te Tiriti o Waitangi.
